The Reid Park Zoo's family-friendly Halloween event offers less "boo" and more "zoo" to provide the entire family with an enjoyable, but not too frightening, celebration. Show off your boo-tiful costumes for this Tucson Halloween tradition.  Proceeds benefit Zoo animal care, operations, and education programs.

Say “Cheese!” during meet and greets with your favorite characters from princesses and pirates to superheroes and movie and storybook figures!

Fall Pumpkin Celebration and Corn Maze

Where:  Apple Annie's Orchard

Fall Pumpkin Festival and Corn Maze

Fall time at Apple Annie's means pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze, sunflowers and fall weather!  Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day in the country.  Don't forget to bring your camera and a jacket, fall days can be quite cool in Willcox.  The enterprise, rooted in a 6,000-tree apple orchard in the early 1980s, now has 7,100 apple trees, 4,700-tree peach, 800 Asian pear, and 300 cherry as well as 37 acres of pumpkins, 19 acres of sweet corn, and assorted produce such as watermelons and peppers.  Customers may pick their own fruits and other vegetables in season.

Jean LeRoy’s Buzzard Creek Ghost Town

Buzzard Creek Ghost Town

Buzzard Creek may seem like a quintessential western town with its general mercantile, barbershop, and saloon. But don’t be fooled by the quaint building facades, this western outpost is home to a cast of ghostly characters and animated skeletons. Long-time Tucsonans might remember this creepy little community as one of several dioramas displayed at the Hidden Valley Inn Restaurant on Sabino Canyon Road in Northeast Tucson during the 1980s and early 1990s. Created by woodcarver Jean LeRoy, the town features gun-slinging ghouls and emanates eerie lights and sounds from its buildings.
